Join us at the Arboretum for a hands-on Holiday Basket Making Workshop led by local artisan Teresa Arnold. In this three-hour session, Teresa will guide participants through the process of crafting a beautiful handwoven basket from start to finish, using green and red reeds for a holiday theme. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced crafter, you’ll enjoy learning traditional techniques, working with natural materials, and leaving with your own completed basket to take home.
Space is limited to ensure individual instruction, so early registration is encouraged!
Registration required: Please register and submit payment in advance to secure your spot. Registration can be done in person at the visitor center or by email at arboretum@uky.edu. Payment must be submitted before the class, and can be done in person at The Arboretum visitor center, or mailed in check form to 500 Alumni Drive, Lexington KY 40503.
