Small Groups

We welcome small groups (birthday parties, pre-schools, classes, summer camps, church groups, etc.) to the Kentucky Children’s Garden during our season of operation during normal operating hours. Any group over 15 total visitors must pre-register as a small group.

Small groups are self-guided. An admission charge of $4 applies to both children and adults.

Please return fill out a Small Group Request Form to request a date. Once you have submitted a form, we will let you know if we have your requested date available.

Only one small group will be permitted to visit at a time. We do not offer discounts for small groups.

• Fayette County Public Schools in session: Small groups are limited to 50 people.
• Fayette County Public Schools NOT in session: Small groups are limited to 30 people.

Field Trips 

We welcome grade-level visits from schools during our season of operation on specified days when the garden is closed to the public. 

There are no more field trip dates for the 2025 season. Please check back in January for our Spring Field Trip dates.

• Grades: K-2
• Time: Tuesdays, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
• Group Size: 50-100
• Cost: $5 per student, teacher and chaperone
